We are so happy that our customers love our packaging.
Our packaging has been designed so you do not need to untie or ruin anything. The twine string is simply looped around the box, allowing you to gently push it away to unloop it from the back of the box. This way, the signature string and wax stamp remain perfectly intact. After opening and closing, you can easily loop the string back around, keeping that beautiful presentation pristine with every use!

Our products are crafted with safety as a priority. However, it's essential to follow safety precautions and care instructions when using our products.
Always keep wax melt burners or warmers and burning wax melts away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets, and never leave them unattended while in use.
It’s also important to never burn wax melts in a wax melt burner or wax warmer for more than 3-4 hours at a time.

Wax Melts
-
Wax melts, also referred to as candle melts or wax tarts, are smaller pieces of scented wax designed to be melted in a wax burner or warmer.
Once melted, they release fragrance into the air, offering a flameless alternative to traditional candles.
Hara Aroma Co's Artisan Signature Wax Melts are handcrafted and infused with scented fragrances and botanicals and are available in packs of 6.
Each wax melt pack provides a collective 120-180 scented burning time (each melt burns for 20-30 hours depending on the scent, environment, room and burner type).
-
At Hara Aroma Co, our handcrafted wax melts are made using a premium cocosoy wax. This special wax is 100% natural and offers a clean long-lasting burn that is environmentally friendly as it is made from renewable resources and biodegradable.
Our wax is non-toxic, vegan, phthalate free, palm free, paraffin free, paraben free and cruelty free.
Cocosoy wax provides a superior scent throw, meaning our wax melts are longer-lasting. On average each wax melt will burn for at least 20 hours and up to 30 hours depending on the fragrance/scent, wax melt burner used and the room/environment.
-
Using wax melts is simple. Here's how to enjoy:
Get started: Place one Hara Aroma Co wax melt in an approved wax burner or warmer. Light a tealight or switch the warmer on. Always follow the manufacturer's safety and care instructions for your warmer or burner. Note - if you have a small burner melt dish you can always cut the melt in half before placing it in the burner dish.
Enjoy the fragrance: As the melt gradually melts, it will release its fragrance, filling your space with soothing scent and ambiance.
Safe burning: For optimal performance and safety, we recommend burning each wax melt for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. Ensure you extinguish the flame or switch off the warmer. You can relight/reuse the wax melt until the scent fades (scents fade between 20-30 hours burning timp er melt depending on the scent, burner, room, and environment).

When you're ready to switch to a new wax melt scent or replace a fully burned wax melt, the easiest and safest method is to use the freezer. Yes, that’s right! This method works best for any warmer or burner with a separate melt dish for the wax melt.
Allow the wax to cool completely in your melt burner or dish.
Place the burner dish with the cooled wax in the freezer for 5-10 minutes. The cold temperature will cause the wax to contract and release from the sides of the container.
Remove the burner dish from the freezer and gently push or pry the wax melt with your finger or a dull utensil. The cooled wax should slide out easily.
Discard the used wax melt or store and label it for reuse if the fragrance/scent is still present.
Clean the burner dish before adding a new Hara Aroma Co wax melt.
-
The duration of scent in our wax melts depends on where they are stored. If stored properly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight in a container or in the supplied box, our wax melts can retain their fragrance for an extended period. However, it's essential to note that over time, the intensity of the scent may gradually diminish.
To ensure the best aromatic experience, we recommend using our wax melts within a reasonable timeframe, typically within six months of purchase. Proper storage however will help preserve the scent for even longer durations.
-
It's best to store your wax melts in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources preferably in the Hara Aroma Co. box provided or in a sealed bag or container. This will help to preserve their fragrance and ensure they last longer.
Tealights
-
At Hara Aroma Co, we offer two types of tealights, both are unfragranced and 100% natural.
Cocosoy tealights: these tealights are hand-poured and made from our premium cocosoy wax, which provides a clean burning experience. On average, they burn for 4-5 hours.
Organic beeswax tealights by Northern Light Candle Company: crafted from organic beeswax, these tealights boast a longer burn time of 7.5-8 hours per tealight. They also come with a reusable tin, allowing you to replace the beeswax tealight insert and reduce waste, making them an environmentally friendly choice.
Unlike many other tealights on the market whose ingredients are unknown, both our cocosoy and organic beeswax tealights are crafted with transparency and care, ensuring a clean burning experience for your enjoyment.
-
Prepare a safe surface: ensure you place your tealight on a level, heat-safe surface, away from anything flammable. If using in a candle burner, ensure it is approved for use with tealights and not enclosed.
Lighting the tealight: use a long match or a lighter to light the wick at the center of the tealight. Never leave a burning tealight unattended and keep it within sight.
Burning time and safety: tealights typically burn for 3-5 hours, though beeswax varieties can last up to 8 hours. When burning a tealight in a burner, for safety, we recommend burning for no more than 3-4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame by gently blowing on it when done burning.
Cooling and disposal: allow the tealight wax pool to solidify completely before moving or disposing of it. Never attempt to move a burning tealight or burn a tealight down to the bottom.
Safety measures: use tealights only in well-ventilated areas and keep them away from flammable materials, drafts, pets, and children.

Sustainability
-
At Hara Aroma Co, sustainability is at the core of our values. While we cannot claim to be 100% sustainable throughout our supply chain, we are committed to making continuous improvements in our business. From selecting natural and renewable ingredients for our products to designing eco-friendly and recyclable packaging, we prioritise sustainability.
However, we recognise that there is always more work to be done, and we are actively working on improving aspects of our supply chain. Sustainability is an ongoing journey for us, and we are dedicated to making positive changes where possible.
A large portion of the packaging used for our products is made from Kraft recycled materials or is recyclable. In addition, we only use Hero Packaging Mailers. They are Australian-certified home compostable shipping mailers. They look and feel like plastic, but they are not. Hero packaging mailers are 100% home compostable and are made from 70-80% PBAT (a co-polymer that is completely compostable) and 20-30% PLA (which is a fancy way of saying cornstarch).
Compostable packaging breaks down when it is buried in soil or disposed of in a compost bin. During breakdown, the materials do not emit any harmful toxins and convert into a rich compost, which becomes a healthy food for plants. Whilst compostable mailers aren’t the perfect solution, they are the best solution for now.
